Alpha is the work of artist Micqaela Jones. Micqaela's background is Te-moak and she grew up on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation of the Shoshone and Paiute Nations. Her work has evolved into an intertwining of her Shoshone culture along with contemporary expressions, resulting in colourful vivid paintings, just like Alpha.
